Here’s how to practice Mindful Scent Exploration:
- Choose Your Scent: Select a flower, essential oil, or another aromatic item. Ensure it’s something you enjoy and find calming or uplifting.
- Find a Quiet Space: Sit comfortably in a quiet spot where you can focus without distractions.
- Observe the Object: If you’re using a flower, notice its colors, shape, and texture before smelling it. For essential oils, look at the bottle or container and reflect on its source.
- Take a Gentle Inhale: Hold the flower or essential oil close to your nose and take a slow, deep inhale. Notice the scent as it fills your senses.
